These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by PetsPets Grooming (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling an appointment, using our grooming services, or interacting with our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding with our services.
1. Services Provided
PetsPets Grooming provides professional grooming services for pets, including but not limited to bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming services as described on our website or in the services list. Our services are available to both dogs and cats, subject to the pet’s health and suitability for grooming.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are the legal owner of the pet being groomed or that you have authorization from the pet’s owner to book grooming services. You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your pet and yourself, including but not limited to your contact information and any relevant health details about your pet.
3. Pet Health and Safety
- Fit and Healthy Pets Only: Grooming services will only be performed on pets that are fit and healthy. If your pet is elderly, infirm, or has any medical conditions, grooming will be done at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health or skin conditions, for which we cannot be held liable.
- Rabies Vaccination: Pets must have an up-to-date rabies vaccination as required by law, unless otherwise discussed with us. You must provide proof of vaccination upon request.
- Emergency Authorization: In case of emergency, if you cannot be reached, you authorize PetsPets Grooming to contact a veterinarian and consent to necessary treatment at your expense.
4. Appointment and Payment Terms
- Booking and Payment: Payment is due at the time of service. Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or check. Returned checks will incur a $35 fee. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and the duration of the grooming session.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling: Clients must provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring the full appointment fee. Failure to provide notice will result in a charge for the full grooming fee. In the event of severe weather, emergencies, or other uncontrollable circumstances, we may waive this fee at our discretion.
- No-Show Policy: A “no-show” occurs when the client fails to show up at the scheduled appointment time and does not provide notice to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge the full grooming fee for no-shows.
5. Grooming Process
- De-matting: Any de-matting or coat removal procedures may significantly alter your pet’s appearance and may expose pre-existing health or skin conditions. We cannot be held liable for such changes or conditions.
- Nail Trim and Ear Cleaning: Nail trimming and ear cleaning are included in our grooming services unless the process is deemed too stressful for your pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
- Anal Gland Expression: We do not perform anal gland expression as it should be performed by a licensed veterinarian.
6. Liability and Limitations
- Limitation of Liability: While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet during grooming, we cannot be held liable for any pre-existing health or skin conditions that are revealed during grooming. By agreeing to these Terms, you assume full responsibility for any health issues that arise during grooming.
- Damage to Property: You agree to be responsible for any damages to our equipment, property, or premises caused by your pet. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements.
7. Communication and Marketing
By providing us with your contact information, you consent to receive communication from us, including appointment reminders, marketing messages, and updates related to our services. This may include communications via SMS, email, phone calls, or other methods. You may opt-out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided or by contacting us directly.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. For more information on how we collect, use, and store your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website, and we will notify you of any significant updates as required. By continuing to use our services after any changes, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PetsPets Grooming operates. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate court in the jurisdiction where our business is located.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PetsPets Grooming, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of our services or any breach of these Terms.
